A machine wears down, slowly and constantly tortures a brick. Ceramic against steel. The metal tip digs a path on the surface of the brick while it itself wears away, under tension, in slow motion. The imprint and erosion on the stone makes visible the repetitive action that wears down the material. The signs of the stone condense the marks of her memory and the violence to which she was subjected. The weight and the traffic that escapes, like water, along its paths.
The work comes from my transit through the Residence of the Ctibor Brick Factory and my research on the wear and tension of the materials and their traces; as memories of memories that prevail and that allow us to get closer to their history.
